National park Fruška Gora, Vrdnik, SremskaMitrovica

Fruška Gora is a mountain in north Srem, situated 87km from Belgrade. Referred to as jewel of Serbia, due to its beautiful landscape protection area, nature and its picturesque countryside.Fruška Gora is one of 5 Serbian national parks. The slopes of Fruška Gora are perfectly suited for growing grape arbors and there are many wine-makers producing Traminer, Riesling and other wines in the region. Over a dozen Serbian Orthodox monasteries are located here. According to historical data, these monastic communities were historically recorded since the first decades of the 16th century. Legends, however, place their founding to the period between the 12th and 15th centuries. These monasteries were declared Monuments of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990, and are protected by both Serbia and UNESCO.

Vrdnik is a small village located at southern slopes of Fruška Gora, at the border of the national park. Although small, the village has several distinctive features: a thermal spa, Vrdnik-Ravanicamonastery from the 16th century, former coal mine with steam power plant built in 1911. and a ruined castle, known as CastellumRednek or Tower of Vrdnik.The spa, accompanied with hotel with annex, bungalows, and two Olympic-size swimming pools presents an important touristic asset. The water temperature is 32.8 °C, and the spa is suitable for treatment of postoperative conditions, various painful disorders, and general balneologic recuperation.

SremskaMitrovica(or Sirmium in Latin) is a city and municipality located in the Vojvodina province, Serbia, on the left bank of the Sava river. Once a capital of the Roman Empire during the Tetrarchy, the city was referred to as the glorious mother of cities. Ten Roman Emperors were born in or near this city. Nowadays, SremskaMitrovica has a lot to offer to tourists, apart from the great history below its surface. Ethno and Eco tourism in this region are reporting growth in the last couple of years.
